| Feb. 12, 2010 - Natural Gas Leak - Warren Haven Nursing Home - 350 Oxford Rd. | ||
| The Mansfield Fire Companies and EMS were called to investigate a strong odor of natural gas eminating from the 180-bed extended care nursing facility. As a precaution, Tri-County laid a 3-inch supply line from a nearby hydrant and stood by at the employee entrance. The crew from 29-61 also ventilated the 1st floor in the process as well. A group of firefighters from Port Murray and Mt. Bethel secured the patient rooms while another group disabled the natural gas source. Fire units stood by until the gas line was secured by the gas company. No residents or firefighters were injured. | ||

| Feb. 6, 2010 - Vehicle Fire - Rockport Rd. Residence | ||
| Fresh off the heels of a winter storm, firefighters were called to a working vehicle fire at a private residence. This call was challenging for firefighters; the vehicle was located 3/4 of the way up a narrow, windy, 3,000 foot driveway which was covered in snow and ice. Since only 4x4 vehicles can maneuver the dangerous driveway, Port Murray's 28-81 was called in to provide water. Firefighters exhausted the truck's tank and four fire extinguishers before the last bits of flame were doused with the only other possible source -- snow! Special thanks to Mansfield Twp. DPW and KTB Landscaping for providing salt for a safe trip back down the driveway. | ||
| Jan. 26, 2010 - T-Bone MVA - Asbury-Anderson Rd. at Rymon Rd. - Washington Twp. (Warren) | ||
| Tri-County was dispatched to assist Washington in a classic T-bone MVA. One driver was airlifted to an area trauma center while the other driver was transported to a local hospital. This MVA occurred at the same time as another MVA with a fatality within the center of Washington Boro. | ||
